Bee Happy is a public artwork at the entrance to Base31 in Picton, Ontario, featuring an oversized sculptural bee that draws attention to the role of pollinators in sustaining ecosystems. As lead production designer, David developed a character-driven form that balances visual impact with durability and site integration.

The installation includes a functional pollinator habitat and educational elements, encouraging visitors to engage with the work while learning about small, collective actions that support bee populations and ecological health.
